Even if a company does not have a parenting & caregiving employee resource group, the presence of other ERG’s is a promising sign.
Employee Resource Groups foster a sense of connection between worker and company.
Companies who develop and maintain ERG’s almost universally view such groups as part of the organization’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
If a company is willing to devote resources to employee groups for any reason, there is a good chance it will view family caregivers as worthy of the same fellowship and support.
