Paid Family Leave

This benefit refers to paid time off for specific family caregiving duties. It can also refer to time off for the employees own medical reasons.

Of 586 family caregivers surveyed, paid leave was the number two desired workplace benefit. About 40% would take unpaid leave if that is all that is offered, but 55% said they could not afford leave if it was not paid.
